This pattern will guide you to crochet a small raccoon keychain. You can use cotton, acrylic, or mixed yarn for this project. The raccoon keychain makes a cute accessory for keys, bags, or backpacks.

Finished Size: Approximately 8 cm


Materials and Tools:

  • Yarn (any cotton, acrylic, or blended yarn)
  • Crochet hook (suitable for the chosen yarn)
  • Stuffing (fiberfill)
  • Keychain hardware
  • Polymer clay (to mold paws and nose)
  • Glue

  • Mold the soles using black polymer clay.

  • Crochet the tail to the desired length, alternating gray and black yarn. Stuff with fiberfill and decrease until the end of the tail closes.

Assembly and Finishing:

  1. Attach the muzzle to the head. Use light stuffing.
  2. Add facial shaping by tightening the area around the eyes.
  3. Create two gray patches around the eyes. You can use dark-gray wool to needle-felt them.
  4. Attach the eyes, then embroider white accents around the gray patches and on the ears. Lightly shade the inside of the ears with gray color.
  5. Mold the nose and paws from polymer clay, boil them for 5 minutes, and coat them with clear lacquer after cooling.
  6. Glue the paws and nose to the appropriate areas using hot glue.
  7. Sew the ears to the head and the tail to the body.

Attach the keychain hardware to complete your raccoon accessory. Your adorable raccoon keychain is ready to use or gift!
