Tail

  1. 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
  2. (inc) x 6 (12)
  3. 12 sc (12)

Leave a thread for sewing.

Muzzle

  • If using felt: Cut out an oval piece about 3.5 cm by 2 cm. Embroider the nose and sew the muzzle onto the face.
  • If crocheting the muzzle: Start with a chain of 7 vp, then crochet 5 dc in the second chain from the hook, 3 dc in the same stitch, 4 dc on the other side, and finish with 1 dc.

Finishing Touches

  • Eye Shaping: Use the main yarn color to sew the eyes into the head. Pull the needle through the designated points to create indentation.
  • Scarf: Make a chain of 95 vp, then crochet a sc in each chain. You can change colors and crochet several rows for the scarf.
  • Bow: Make a chain of 11 vp, then crochet 10 sc in the second chain from the hook. Turn and crochet another row of 10 sc. Repeat for 5 rows. To tie the bow, use a 60 vp chain and tighten the center.

Assembly

  • Arms and Legs: Sew them onto the body using a strong thread. For button joints, you’ll need sturdy buttons and a long needle. Remember not to tighten the limbs too much, and secure the thread well at the end.
  • Placement: Attach the ears starting from row 8 of the head. Attach the tail at the base of the legs.

This detailed masterclass will guide you through every step of creating a beautiful crocheted teddy bear. Enjoy crafting!
