Crochet Elephant Keychain Free Pattern

Welcome to another delightful free amigurumi pattern! Today, I’m sharing a cute elephant pattern along with step-by-step instructions to help you bring it to life. At the end of this post, I’ll also include some additional pattern ideas to inspire you.


Materials

  • Yarn: Vita Brillant (45% wool, 55% acrylic, 380 m / 100 g) in gray and pink
  • Hook size: 1.5 mm – 1.75 mm
  • Eyes: 3 mm safety eyes or glue-on eyes
  • Tools: Sewing needle, scissors
  • Stuffing: Fiberfill

Finished Size: Approximately 8 cm

Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.


Ears

(Make 2 in gray and 2 in pink.)

Place a gray and pink circle together (pink side facing outward). Join with gray yarn, working 24 sc around. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.

Stuff firmly. Close the opening and fasten off.


Arms (Make 2)

  3. Rnds 3-4: 9 sc (2 rnds)
  4. Rnd 5: (1 sc, dec) x3 (6)
  5. Rnds 6-7: 6 sc (2 rnds)

Stuff lightly. Close the opening and fasten off.


Tail

Make a chain of 10 ch. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Brush out the end for a fluffy effect if desired.


Assembly

  1. Sew the trunk to the center of the head.
  2. Attach the ears to each side of the head.
  3. Sew the head to the body.
  4. Attach the arms and legs to the body.
  5. Add the tail to the back of the body.
  6. Glue or sew the eyes onto the face.

Finished!
