Insert the joints (if you are moving hands) and tighten the hole. Or fold in half and knit 7 sc (if the pens are sewn), in this case, we do not knit the 15th row.

Ears (2 parts)

2: pr * 6 times (12)

ss, fasten and cut the thread, leave the tip for sewing.

Tail

Dial a chain of 10 VP. Starting from the 2nd loop from the hook, in each stitch, knit 2 sc. Cut the thread, leave the tip for sewing.

Muzzle

Collect a chain of 6 VP. We knit on both sides of the chain, forming an oval.

1: pr in the 2nd loop from the hook, 3 sbn, 3 sbn in the last loop, on the other side of the chain: 3 sbn, pr

2: pr, 2 sbn, pr * 3 times, 3 sbn, pr * 2 times

3: pr, 4 sbn, pr, 2 sbn, pr, 5 sbn, pr

4: pr * 2 times, 8 sbn, pr * 2 times, 9 sbn

Trim and leave the tip for sewing.

Life Ring

Close a life ring with 12 VP in a circle and knit in a circle without changes to the desired length. Then fix the thread, leave the tip for sewing. We sew the beginning and the end with a needle.

The author knitted the circle so that it did not fall from the waist, so she sewed the edges, putting the circle on the hippo.

Hat

1: 6 sbn in ka (6)

2: pr * 6 times (12)

3: (1 sbn, pr) * 6 times (18)

8-13: Unchanged for 6 rows (42)

14: pr in each loop

15: (1 sbn, pr) – in a circle

16-17: No change, 2 rows

To make the hat fields wider, you can knit a few more rows without changes.
