The bunny is crocheted using Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn with a size of about 30 cm in height. The pattern also shows how to tie a bow to decorate the bunny. You can check out more of Julia’s work on her Instagram: @deynega_yuly.
Necessary Materials
- Yarn: Himalaya Dolphin Baby (gray: 2/3 skein, color: half skein)
- Hook: 4.0 mm
- Eyes: 8-10 mm on a secure mount
- Stitching needle
- Black floss thread or any other cotton yarn for embroidering the spout and eyebrows
- Holofiber filler

Insert the eyes on a secure mount between the 9th and 10th rows at a distance of 5-6 loops.

Skirt
Attach the thread to the 8th row (where you knitted for the back wall).
- Do 2 VP and knit crochet raises in each loop to the end of the row.
- Again, 2 VP and raise from the double crochet in each loop to the end of the row.
- 2 VP and knit 1 double crochet in each loop to the end of the row.
- 1 VP and 1 sc in each loop to the end of the row.
Cut the thread.

Change color to gray and in the 9th row, knit by the back wall.

Then knit 3 sc to be in the middle of the leg.
Fill the leg completely tightly.
Fold in half and knit 5 sc for both edges.
Tie the 9th row in white (which was knitted for the back wall), and knit the increments from the sbn for the front wall of the loops.
Collar (White yarn)
- Collect a chain of 27 VP.
- From the 2nd loop from the hook: 1 sc, in the next loop 1 half-crochet, then in each loop knit 1 double-crochet until 2 loops remain, then 1 half-crochet, then 1 sc.
Sew the collar on and fix the edges. You can also sew the collar with several stitches so that it stays fixed.
Bow
- Fill chain of 7 VP.
- In the 7th loop from the hook (base loop): 4 posts with three crochets, then 6 VP and a connecting post.
- Then 6 VP and 4 columns with three crochets in the base loop, 6 VP and a connecting post in the base.
Assembling the Toy
- Sew the body to the head.
- Sew the handles along the head-body seam.
- Sew the legs between the 6th and 7th rows.
- Sew the ears between the 3rd and 4th rows.
