Free Amigurumi Mouse Pattern

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors! I wanted to share this free amigurumi pattern with you. In this article, I’ll guide you through making a cute little mouse. At the end, I’ll also share some additional amigurumi patterns that can inspire your future projects!

Materials and Tools

  • Yarn:
  • Regia Uni (white for the head, body, arms, and legs, and tail)
  • Brown and Sandy (for the teddy bear)
  • Drops Alpaca Mix (light blue for dress and snood)
  • Hooks:
  • 2.5 mm and 3 mm hooks
  • Needles:
  • 2.5 mm for sewing
  • Additional Supplies:
  • Toy eyes
  • Toy filler
  • Dry pastel or blush
  • Needle for sewing details
  • Scissors

Conventions

  • KA – Magic ring
  • vp – Air loop
  • ss – Connecting column

Head

Use white yarn. Insert eyes between rows 18 and 19 at a distance of 14 loops.

Ears (2 Parts)

Use white color.

  3. Fasten and cut the thread, leaving it for sewing. Stuff the body. Do not sew on the head yet. We’ll add the dress next.

Knitted Mouse Dress

Needles: 2.5 mm. Cast on 92 stitches.

1-4. Knit 92 loops, turn
5-6. Repeat rows 5 and 6 until row 23 (right side)

  1. K2tog (46x), turn
  2. K5, 2 k2tog (18x), k5, turn
  3. Out, turn
    Fasten and leave the thread for sewing. Sew both sides. Attach the dress to the 34th row of the body.

Crocheted Mouse Dress

Hook: 3 mm. Dial 30 chains and close in a circle with a ss.

Legs (2 Parts):
Dial 15 chains and connect in a circle with a ss.

1-10. 15 sc

Fasten the thread and leave for sewing. Attach the foot to the leg and sew. Fill the legs and place them between the 5th and 8th rows of the body. Sew on.

Fingers

Use white yarn. Insert the needle into the 8th row of the foot in the middle. Form fingers as shown in the photo. Repeat pulls left/right several times.

Tail

Use white color. Fill as you knit.

Snood Knitting

Needles: 2.5 mm. Cast on 40 stitches.

1-4. K40, turn
5-6. Repeat rows 5 and 6 until row 23 (RS)
Fasten and cut the thread, leaving it for sewing. Sew both sides. Wear around the neck.

Snood Crochet

Hook: 3 mm. Dial 20 chains. Start in the 3rd from the hook and knit 18 hdc.

1-15. Ch 2, turn, 18 hdc (behind the rear half loops)

Fasten and cut the thread, leaving it for sewing. Sew both sides.

Amigurumi Mouse (Brown Version)

Head and body brown.

Ears (2 Parts)

Use brown yarn.

  4. Fold in half and knit together for both sides 4 ss.
    Fasten and cut, leaving for sewing. Sew the ears between the 2nd and 6th rows of the head.

Muzzle (Nose)

Use sand color yarn.

  2. 4 sc in one loop, 2 sc, 4 sc in one loop, 2 sc (12)
  3. 12 sc

Fasten and cut, leaving for sewing. Sew the muzzle to the head between rows 6 and 11. Embroider the nose and eyes (French knot).
