Free Crochet Workshop: Lion by Victoria Loginova (@laroschatoys)
In this tutorial, you can crochet a plush lion using a 3mm hook. To make this amigurumi lion, you will need Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn (or similar) in three colors (white, mustard, brown) and a 3mm crochet hook. The mane and tail are made using extended stitches. For finishing, black smooth yarn like YarnArt Jeans or mouliné thread is also required. All parts are crocheted in the round unless otherwise specified. Stuff the toy firmly.

Ears
Crochet the first ear with white yarn in rows:

Secure the yarn and cut.
Crochet a second ear using brown yarn. Do not cut the yarn after completing it—join the two ears and crochet 12 sc through both parts. Secure the yarn and leave it for sewing.
Mane and Tail
You can design the mane however you like. I used extended stitches, catching loops on the head. Do the same for the lower part of the tail, approximately 7 rows. Embroider the nose and mouth using mustard and black thread.
