For the legs:

  2. Row 17: 36 sc
  3. Row 18: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
  4. Row 19: 30 sc
  5. Row 20: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)

  7. Row 22: (2 sb, dec) x 6 (18)
  8. Rows 23-24: 18 sb

Finishing:

  • In the 24th row, knit the handles parallel to the bottom (4 sb with the leg, 5 sb between the legs).
  • Rows 25-27: 18 sc
  • Finish knitting at the back, leaving the thread for sewing the head.

Assembling the Toy:

  1. Sew the head to the body. From the bottom front, sew on the loops on the border of the row with textured yarn so that the head tilts slightly forward.
  2. Sew the ears no higher than the eye level, to your preference.
  3. For the tail, choose a spot in the center of the back of the body. Insert the hook into the fabric, pick up a chain of 7-8 air loops, and return along the chain with half-double crochets.
  4. Fasten both threads and hide the toy inside.

Optional:

  • You can comb the body and head using Velcro for added texture.
