Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe

For the Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 small red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chicken broth (optional, for adjusting consistency)
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (extra for the sauce)
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs

For the Pasta

  • 300 g (10 oz) penne, fettuccine, or linguine pasta
  • Salt (for pasta water)
