Free Crochet Cow Pattern by Grace and Yarn

This free crochet pattern will guide you step-by-step to create a cute cow amigurumi. You can use any yarn and an appropriate hook size for this project. All parts are crocheted in spirals, without slip stitches or turning chains. The legs and body are worked as a single piece, and the remaining parts are sewn on separately.

Crochet Instructions for Amigurumi Cow

Legs (Make 2)

Using black or brown yarn:

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in KA (6)

  3. Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
  4. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
  5. Round 5: 24 sc (back loops only)
    6-10. Rounds 6-10: 24 sc (5 rounds)

Switch to white yarn:

11-21. Rounds 11-21: 24 sc (11 rounds)

Fasten off the yarn for the first leg. Do not fasten off for the second leg.


Body

Join the two legs with 3 ch between them.

  1. Round 22: 24 sc on the first leg, 3 sc across the chain, 24 sc on the second leg, 3 sc across the chain (54)
