Free Crochet Pattern: Beaver Nestor by @amigurumimission

With this pattern, you can crochet an adorable beaver using your preferred yarn and hook. The designer recommends Amigurumi yarn (50g/254m). All parts are crocheted in a spiral without turning chains.

Muzzle

Using beige yarn:

  3. 22 sc

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Embroider the nose and mouth. Set aside for later.


Body and Head

Using brown yarn:

  1. 6 sc in KA
  2. Inc in each st (12)

  4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
  5. (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
  6. (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)

Switch to beige yarn for the highlighted stitches:

    10-14. 20 sc, 8 sc (beige), 20 sc (48)

Insert safety eyes between rows 23 and 24, spaced 6 sc apart. Sew the muzzle below the eyes.

    Add stuffing.
  3. (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)

Add more stuffing, fasten off, and weave in the end.


Teeth

Using white yarn:

  1. Ch 3, 2 sc, fasten off. Sew onto the muzzle.

Ears (Make 2)

Using brown yarn:

  1. 6 sc in KA
  2. (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
  3. 9 sc

Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew onto the head at row 5 from the top.


Legs (Make 2)

Using gray yarn:

  1. Ch 5, 3 sc starting from the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc in the last ch, 2 sc along the other side of the chain, inc (10)
  2. Inc, 2 sc, 3 sc in front loops, sc, 3 sc in front loops, 2 sc, inc, sc (16)
  3. 5 sc, 3 sc in front loops, 3 sc, 3 sc in front loops, 6 sc (20)

Switch to brown yarn:

  1. 20 sl st in back loops only
  2. 20 sc in back loops only
  3. 6 sc, 4 dec, 6 sc (16)
  4. 16 sc

Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing. Stuff lightly and sew to row 6 of the body.


Arms (Make 2)

Using gray yarn:

  1. Ch 4, 2 sc starting from the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc in the last ch, 1 sc along the other side of the chain, inc (8)
    2-3. 8 sc

Switch to brown yarn:

  1. 8 sl st in back loops only
  2. 8 sc in back loops only
    6-10. 8 sc

Fasten off, flatten the top, and sc across to close. Sew to the sides of the body.


Tail

Using gray yarn:

  1. Ch 9, 7 sc starting from the 2nd ch from the hook, 3 sc in the last ch, 6 sc along the other side of the chain, inc (18)
    2-7. 18 sc
  2. (4 sc, dec) x 3 (15)
    9-15. 15 sc

Fasten off, flatten the top, and sc across to close. Sew to the bottom of the body.


Assembly

  1. Attach the ears to the head.
  2. Sew the arms and legs to the body.
  3. Attach the tail to the back.
  4. Embroider the face and add any final details.
