This pattern will help you crochet a plush Shiba Inu dog. Any plush yarn, such as YarnArt Dolce, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, or Etrofil Yonca Baby, is suitable. Optionally, you can make clothes for the dog using a separate pattern.


Materials and Tools

  • Plush yarn: YarnArt Dolce (747-brown, less than one skein; 741-white)
  • Crochet hook: 2.5-3.5 mm
  • Safety eyes: 10 mm
  • Safety nose: 15 mm
  • Stuffing for toys
  • Needle for sewing parts
  • Scissors

  • MR – magic ring
  • ch – chain
  • ch1 – chain 1 (turning chain)
  • sl st – slip stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • inc – increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
  • dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
  • (…) x n – repeat the instructions in parentheses n times

Fold the arms in half and crochet 4 sc across to close. Leave a yarn tail for sewing.

Using a 2.5 mm hook:

Snout
