Free Crochet Pattern: Louis the Lion by Herriet Stip & Haak

This amigurumi pattern allows you to crochet a lion using your preferred yarn and hook size. The mane can be made from wool yarn, with melange or tweed shades giving an excellent effect. You can decorate your lion with felt spots or buttons as desired.


Materials and Tools

  • Yarn in any color (for the lion’s body)
  • Wool yarn (for the mane and tail)
  • Crochet hook
  • 8 mm safety eyes
  • Stuffing
  • Felt
  • Needle for sewing parts
  • Scissors
