Instructions:
1.Cook the Tortellini and Broccoli:
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the tortellini according to package instructions.
During the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2.Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook the chicken in the skillet until golden brown and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
3.Prepare the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.
Add the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
4.Combine Everything:
Add the cooked tortellini, broccoli, and chicken to the skillet with the sauce.
Toss gently to coat everything evenly in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
4.Serve:
Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!
Pro Tip:
For added flavor, sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley or basil on top before serving. Pair this dish with garlic bread and a green salad for a complete meal!
Let me know how it turns out!
