Prepare the Chicken:
- Season the Chicken: In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sautรฉ: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the chicken and cook for about 6โ8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ยฝ cup of pasta water before draining.
Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add minced garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until it reaches your desired consistency. Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor, if desired. Season with salt and pepper.
Assemble:
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until fully coated. Divide the pasta into serving bowls.
- Top each bowl with the golden garlic chicken bites.
- Sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese and garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color.
