This hearty Philly Cheesesteak Soup combines all the flavors of the classic sandwich into a warm, comforting dish, complete with crispy bacon and cheesy toast on the side. Made in just one pot, itโ€™s easy to prepare and perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

For the Soup:

  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb (450 g) thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz (225 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups (1 liter) beef broth
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
