One of the free amigurumi crochet patterns we will share today is the amigurumi Minion, whose photos and design belong to CozyPuppet (dailydoll.shop). AMIGURUMI MINION RUSH FREE CROCHET PATTERN

Materials

  • Yarn YarnArt Jeans
  • 17 (dark jeans) – 1 skein
  • 49 (light gray) – 1 skein
  • 88 (pale yellow) – 2 skeins
  • 62 (white) – 1 skein
  • 53 (black) – 1 skein
  • White, black and gray yarn (small amounts)
  • 1mm solid felt in white, black, red and blue (matching the color of the overalls)
  • Filler (synthetic fluff, synteshar)
  • Wire for arm frame, masking tape or electrical tape
  • Eyes on secure mount (10mm diameter, iris made with brown yarn for 18-20mm diameter)
  • Plastic for soles, plastic bottle for glasses
  • Needles for sewing on parts, pins for fixing parts, scissors, glue (Moment gel)
  • Two buttons for overalls
  • Belt or regular tape for glasses (or tie a cord)
  • 3mm hook

Legs

We begin crocheting with black yarn from the boots, using a 3 mm hook.

  1. 1 row: Chain 12 air loops.
  2. 2 row: 9 sc from the 3rd loop from the hook, 4 sc in one loop, 8 sc on the other side, inc (24).
  3. 3 row: Mark the beginning of the row with a marker, work in a spiral: inc, 5 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 4 inc from dc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 5 sc, inc (30).
  4. 4 row: 1 sc, inc, 13 sc, 2 inc, 12 sc, inc (34).
  5. 5 row: 34 sc for the back wall (34).
  6. 6 row: 34 sc (34).
  7. 7 row: 8 sc, 2 dec, 12 sc, 2 dec, 6 sc (30).
  8. 8 row: 10 sc, 6 dec, 8 sc (24).
  9. 9 row: 24 sc (24).
  10. 10 row: Mark the middle of the front of the boot. Decrease 9 sc, 4 dec, 7 sc (20).
  11. 11 row: 7 sc, 4 dec, 5 sc (16).
  12. 12 row: 16 sc (16).

Cut out the insole from plastic according to the outlined pattern, and adjust the size. The insole should not be larger than the sole to prevent the boot from bending.

Arms

We begin crocheting the fingers with black yarn, using a 3 mm hook.

  1. 1 row: 6 sc in MR (6).
  2. 2 row: 6 inc (12).
  3. 3-4 rows: 12 sc (12).
  4. 5 row: (3 sc, inc) * 3 times (15).
  5. 6-11 rows: 15 sc (15).

We crochet three elements. Do not break the thread on the third. Connect the first two fingers:

  1. 12 row: 8 sc, attach the second finger, knit 14 sc on it, 7 sc on the first finger (30).
  2. 13 row: 30 sc (30).
  3. 14 row: Attach the third finger: 4 sc, 7 sc together with 7 sc of the third finger, knit 19 sc (30).
  4. 15 row: Complete the round with the remaining 8 sc of the third finger (31).
  5. 16 row: 29 sc, dec (30).

Body

Start crocheting with blue yarn, using a 3 mm hook.

  1. 1 row: 7 sc in MR (7).

Eyes

First, crochet all the necessary parts for the eyes. The eye consists of a hemisphere, back cover, iris, and eyelid.

  3. 3 row: (1 sc, inc) * 6 times (18).
  4. 4 row: (2 sc, inc) * 6 times (24).
  5. 5-6 rows: 24 sc (24).
  6. 7 row: (3 sc, inc) * 6 times (30).
  7. 8 row: (4 sc, inc) * 6 times (36).
  8. 9-10 rows: 36 sc (36).

Assembly

Once all parts are crocheted, sew them together and add the eyes, mouth, and other details. The Minion’s arms, body, and legs should be attached carefully, ensuring they are securely fastened.
