Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Cook the Base

  1. Heat a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
  2. Add the diced onion and garlic. Cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

2. Add Seasoning and Liquid

  1. Stir in the taco seasoning until the beef mixture is well coated.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice), broth, and milk. Stir to combine.

3. Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring the mixture to a boil, then stir in the uncooked pasta.
  2. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked and the liquid is mostly absorbed.
