Classic Macaroni Salad


Instructions:

  1. Cook the Macaroni:
    Boil macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water, and let it cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Dressing:
    In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, sugar, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  3. Combine Ingredients:
    In a large mixing bowl, add the cooled macaroni, diced ham, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots, lettuce, bell peppers, and olives.
  4. Mix in the Dressing:
    Pour the dressing over the salad and toss everything gently until evenly coated.
  5. Chill:
    Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve:
    Serve chilled as a side dish for barbecues, picnics, or as a light main course.
