Introduction

We are adding a new design to our collection of free amigurumi patterns. As always, you can find some of the most popular and preferred crochet patterns right here, free of charge. This time, we present to you the adorable Amigurumi Teddy Bear pattern!


Materials Needed

  • Yarn:
  • Himalaya Dolphin Baby Yarn (100% polyester, 120 m/100 g, color 80302 yellow)
  • YarnArt Dolce Yarn (100% micro polyester, 120 m/100 g, color 754 brown)
  • Black Yarn (YarnArt Jeans, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 160 m/50 g) for embroidering eyebrows
  • Crochet Hook: 4.0 mm
  • Safety Eyes and Nose
  • Sewing Thread
  • Yarn Needle & Scissors
  • Fiberfill
  • Height: 25 cm (9.8 inches)

Abbreviations

  • R = Row
  • ch = Chain
  • st = Stitch
  • sl st = Slip Stitch
  • sc = Single Crochet
  • inc = Increase (2 sc in one stitch)
  • dec = Decrease (2 sc together)
  • […] = Number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
  • ( … ) = Repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

Amigurumi Teddy Bear Free Pattern

Legs (Make 2)

With white yarn:

  • Make 5 ch.
  • R1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 3 sc, 3 sc in last st, turn and continue crocheting on the opposite side of the chain: 2 sc, inc [10]
  • R2: 2 inc, 1 sc, 3 inc, 1 sc, 3 inc [18]
  • R3-4: 18 sc (2 rows)
  • R5: 5 sc, 4 dec, 5 sc [14]
  • R6: 5 sc, 2 dec, 5 sc [12]

Change to yellow yarn:

  • R7: 12 sc
  • R8-9: 12 sc (2 rows) — Stuff with fiberfill
  • R10: 12 sc
  • R11: (1 sc, dec) repeat 4 times [8]
  • R12: 8 sc, sl st — Finish stuffing.
    Fasten off.

Ears for Bunny Shoes (Make 4)

With white yarn:

  • Make 4 ch.
  • R1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 2 sc, 3 sc in last st, turn and continue crocheting on the opposite side of the chain: 2 sc, sl st [7]
  • Fasten off.
  • Sew ears on shoes.

Arms (Make 2)

With brown yarn:

  • R1: 2 ch, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook [5]
  • R2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]
  • R3-4: 10 sc (2 rows)

Change to yellow yarn:

  • R5: (3 sc, dec) repeat 2 times [8]
  • R6-10: 8 sc (5 rows)
  • Fasten off.

Body

With yellow yarn:

  • R1: 2 ch, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook [6]
