Quick and Easy One-Pan Chicken and Rice Recipe


Instructions:

  1. Season the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the chicken and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside (it will finish cooking with the rice).
  3. Cook the Rice:
    • In the same skillet (with the chicken drippings), add the uncooked rice and sautรฉ for 1-2 minutes to toast it lightly.
    • Pour in the chicken broth, stirring to deglaze the pan and pick up all the flavor from the chicken.
