Step 1: Prepare the Meatloaf Base
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined (donβt overmix).
- Press the meatloaf mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish to create the base layer.
Step 2: Bake the Meatloaf
- Bake the meatloaf base for 20 minutes, just until it begins to set. While it bakes, prepare the mac and cheese.
